Melbourne Polytechnic, in partnership with Bendigo Community Bank – East Ivanhoe Branch, is offering the Community Bank East Ivanhoe – Access & Support Scholarships for 2025. Valued at $1,000, this scholarship is open to students studying at the Heidelberg campus or living in the East Ivanhoe area.

To be eligible for the scholarships, applicants must be either enrolled in a course at Melbourne Polytechnic’s Heidelberg campus in 2025 (excluding short courses), or reside in the East Ivanhoe catchment area.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Australia

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship is applicable to any course offered at Melbourne Polytechnic Heidelberg campus (excluding short courses).

  • Admissible Criteria:
    To be eligible, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
    • Be enrolled in a course at the Melbourne Polytechnic Heidelberg campus in 2025 (excluding short courses),
    OR
    • Reside in the East Ivanhoe catchment area (refer to eligible postcodes listed in the application guide).

    Additionally, applicants must:
    • Provide proof of enrolment or pending enrolment at Melbourne Polytechnic.
    • Outline personal and financial circumstances, specifying the need for assistance (e.g., tuition, materials, technology).
    • Submit any supporting documentation related to eligibility or financial hardship.

Offered Benefits

  • A financial grant of $1,000

  • Funding can be applied directly to tuition/fees or disbursed via EFT to the recipient.

  • Support for essential study-related expenses such as course materials, uniforms, tools of trade, or technology.
