College of Arts Scholarship

The College of Arts is delighted to be able to offer a number of Scholarships for students undertaking a doctoral programme in the College of Arts Graduate School in session 2015/16. These scholarships will include around 4 hours per week of internship duties.

Eligibility Criteria

  • In order to be nominated for a scholarship, applicants must hold an unconditional or conditional offer of a place on a College of Arts PhD degree programme. Further details of Arts subject areas and the Admissions application process are available using these links.

  • Applicants must not be holding another full Scholarship for the 2015/16 academic session. Applicants holding a part scholarship (e.g. fees only or stipend only) may still be considered.

  • Home, EU and International students are all eligible to apply. However, in the case of International students, any award may be limited to tuition fees only.

  • Both new and continuing, full-time and part-time students may apply.

Offered Benefits

The 2015/16 annual stipend rate is still to be agreed. Scholarships normally offer an annual stipend, plus tuition fees at the Home/EU rate.
