Thanks to the considerable generosity of the** Elizabeth Creak Charitable Trust**, up to six Clyde Higgs Scholarships,** each worth £6,758**, are available to UK applicants for the MSc courses 'Sustainable Crop Production: Agronomy for the 21st Century' and 'Food Security'.
The scholarships are to support students interested in pursuing a career in the agri-food sector. The principle aim of the Elizabeth Creak Charitable Trust is to provide support and encourage new blood in farming through education and other means and finance projects to help agriculture succeed and ultimately thrive in a challenging environment.
Successful applicants will be required to meet the Trustees from time to time and give a short presentation on their research project or placement in the summer term.
The School of Life Sciences has relationships with a number of companies and agricultural organisations that participate in lectures and seminar programmes, and which may offer placements for the MSc students of the School.
Scholarships worth £9,010 (100% of course fees) are available to students in special circumstances.
