ATM stands for “Access to Masters” and offers students a fully funded Taught MSc programme in collaboration with an SME (Small or Medium Size Enterprise) in the convergence area* of Wales.
The course is mainly project based where the applicant receives hands on training in the latest available instrumentation. Two main themes are available analytical and environmental, all this at zero cost to the student!
An additional benefit is that the student becomes linked with a company and as such experiences both industrial and academic approaches to science. Due to the extra qualification and experience of the workplace the course has an excellent history of recruitment into both PhD places and industry .
