CHASE AHRC International PhDs at SOAS University in UK Established in 1916, SOAS, University of London is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of London (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, SOAS, University of London (SOAS) is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 5,000-5,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. SOAS, University of London (SOAS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: UK and international students can both apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Research study programmes taught at SOAS can be applied for.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • Applicants must have a master’s degree from a recognized university.
  • Have pre-settled status (meeting residency requirements), or
  • Have indefinite leave to remain or enter

Offered Benefits

The scholarship winners will receive tuition fees and stipend for up to 3 years for the academic session 2022/2023.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: To apply for this award, you should take admission through the university portal. Applications for the studentship must be filed separately via the direct website of CHASE.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • Certificate copy of academic transcripts
  • Personal statement
  • Research proposal
  • Letter of recommendation
  • Admission Requirements: Students must submit all necessary documents demanded at the time of application. SAT or ACT scores can also be submitted.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
  • IELTS Academic – 6.5
  • PTE Academic – 65
  • TOEFL iBT – 100
  • IELCA Academic – 35
