The Chalmers University of Technology is awarding a good number of scholarships funded by the Chalmers Foundation to interested applicants who are liable to pay tuition fees for Swedish university education. This Tuition fee reduction (up to 75%) scholarship program will be awarded to successful applicants only.

Chalmers University of Technology 2023 Avancez Scholarship for African Students for Master Established in 1829, Chalmers tekniska högskola (Chalmers University of Technology) is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized city of Göteborg (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Vastra Gotaland County. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Utbildningsdepartementet, Sverige (Ministry of Education and Research, Sweden), Chalmers tekniska högskola (CHALMERS) is a medium-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 9,000-9,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Chalmers tekniska högskola (CHALMERS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 189 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 80-90% making this Swedish higher education organization a least selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship program, applicants must:

  • be Citizens of non-EU/EEA countries
  • have completed their bachelors degree program
  • have applied or applying to Chalmers University Of technology.
  • have good academic records

Offered Benefits

  • A 75% reduction of the tuition fees (4 semesters / 2 year programme)
  • Students who excel during their first year of studies may receive an increased scholarship reduction, which covers 85% of the tuition fee during the second and final year of studies
  • No funds are transferred to the scholarship laureates

Application Process

 It is mandatory to submit an application for Chalmers Master’s programmes at  University Admissions prior to making a scholarship application. Only then will you be able to obtain your individual application number, which must be entered correctly in the scholarship application portal.
