Eligibility requirements for Master's programs
Applicants must have a first degree from a recognized university or institution of higher education, or provide documentation indicating that they will earn such a first degree before enrolment in a CEU Master's program.
For its one-year US accredited Master's programs, CEU normally accepts students who have completed four years of undergraduate university study. Applicants with a three-year Bachelor's degree will be considered for two-year Master's programs (both for the ones accredited in the US and in Hungary).
Admission into the US accredited one-year programs with a three-year Bachelor's degree will also be possible for suitable candidates.

The CEU Master's Excellence ScholarshipCovers the full cost of tuition and medical insurance. In addition, excellence scholarship recipients are awarded a monthly stipend of 96,000 HUF, designed to assist with the cost of meals and miscellaneous expenses. Single or shared housing in the CEU Residence Center is offered in most cases with the exception of those students who permanently reside in Budapest.

Scholarship recipients who were awarded housing in the CEU's Residence Center have the option to decline it. In such cases, however, CEU does not cover the costs of alternative accommodation.
