CEMEREM Scholarships at Taita Taveta University, Kenya for Master Founded in 2007, Taita Taveta University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Voi (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Taita-Taveta. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Taveta, Wundanyi. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Commission for University Education, Kenya, Taita Taveta University (TTU) is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 5,000-5,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Taita Taveta University (TTU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 12 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 80-90% making this Kenyan higher education organization a least selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: Students must have to take admission to the master’s degree programme at the university. After taking admission, students are eligible to apply for the award.
  • Supporting Documents: Candidates must have to submit the following:
  • Copies of acquired university degrees and academic transcripts
  • Motivation letter (maximum 700 words) describing the applicant’s academic, professional and personal reasons for applying for a Master’s Programme.
  • Up-to-date Curriculum Vitae.
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Admission Requirements: Applicants must be a holder of a Bachelor of Science degree with at least Second Class Honours (Upper Division) in any of the relevant Engineering fields from a recognized university such as Mining, Mineral Processing, Environmental, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Civil and Construction, Electrical, Process, or Geological Engineering
  • Language Requirement: Aspirants must have to be proficient in written and spoken the English language.
