Cavendish University Excellence scholarships in Uganda Founded in 2007, Cavendish University Uganda is a for-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Kampala (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Central Region. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the The National Council for Higher Education, Uganda, Cavendish University Uganda (CUU) is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 4,000-4,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Cavendish University Uganda (CUU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 12 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 10-20% making this Ugandan higher education organization a most selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicants must have a plan to attend classes in person ,have at least 3 Principal Passes at A-level, have attained a total of at least 12 points at A-level at one sitting, strong interest in developing leadership skills, ability to pass a pre-entry written English and basic Math test and ability to pass an oral interview.

For being part of this program, students need to meet the admission requirements of the university.

Applicants required having a good knowledge of written and spoken the English language.

Offered Benefits

This education award will cover the 100% tuition and functional fees of each candidate for the duration of the course.

Application Process

Eligible candidates can apply for the bursary after taking admission in an undergraduate degree program at the university. After being enrolled at the university, aspirants can complete the necessary process, including the English, Math test and oral interview, and then Enrolment Officer will contact you with the program Committee’s final decision no later than 19th August 2019.

Claimants must have to attach at least two letters of reference or recommendation one of which should be from a teacher that taught the applicant and a second letter from any community leader.
