Call for Expression of Interest: Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) 2024 Voluntary Research Fellowships Founded in 2006, Joseph Ayo Babalola University is a for-profit private higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Ikeji-Arakeji (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Osun. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the National Universities Commission, Nigeria, Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 4,000-4,999 students) coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Pentecostal religion. Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 13 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 60-70% making this Nigerian higher education organization a somewhat selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • You must hold at least an M.Sc or equivalent in fields like social sciences, urban planning, or humanities.
  • You should be a current or external staff member of any tertiary or research institution.
  • You need excellent English language skills.
  • You should have at least three years of research experience.
