The yearly prize is sponsored by Nigeria LNG to honour the author of the best critical work. To encourage literary criticism, the Advisory Board of the Nigeria Prize for Literature will reward the author of the best critical work with the sum of USD 10,000.
This year, the competition is on Children’s Literature genre.

- All candidates should submit their entries accompanied by an application type obtainable on-line from The Nigeria Prizes web site, www.thenigeriaprizes.org
- Completed varieties should be printed and submitted with the entries. Go to www.thenigeriaprizes.org for extra particulars on submission.
- All candidates should submit three (3) literary criticism works on Children’s Literature for the prize
- The prize will likely be awarded for no different motive than excellence
All entries should be in by Tuesday, 2nd April 2025. Late entries is not going to be thought-about
