California Junior Scholarship Federation Program for Course


The California Junior Scholarship Federation (CJSF) is pleased to offer the CJSF applications for high school students in the United States.

The CJSF emphasises high standards of award and community service for California junior high school students.

The California Junior Scholarship Federation was founded in 1967. It is part of CSF and the oldest award institution in the state of California.

Application Deadline: 25 September.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Applications are open only in California in the United States
  • Admissible Criteria: To qualify for CJSF membership this semester, follow these guidelines:
  • You must earn TWICE the number of points than courses in which you are enrolled that meet membership requirements.
  • No points are earned for P.E., a remedial or repeated course, or work experience in which pay is involved.
  • CJSF points are granted as follows: A=3 points B=1point C=0 point
  • One additional point shall be given for a grade of “A” or “B” in an Honors course, up to a maximum of two such points per semester. D/F=will debar from membership if received in any class.
  • Citizenship An N/U = will prevent from membership if received in ANY class
  • Applicants must also remember: Semester membership is based on work done in the previous semester. Must reapply each semester for membership.
