To help empower our unsung local leaders, our firm is proud to announce the “Breonna Taylor” Scholarship in honor of Ms. Taylor. Through this contest, we aim to provide financial assistance to under-served or underprivileged ethnic minority students whose leadership, empathy, and passion have and will positively change the lives of people in their communities and the world.

Breonna Taylor Scholarships at Arizona State University Established in 1885, Arizona State University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Tempe (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Arizona. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Mesa, Phoenix, Glendale, Lake Havasu City. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Higher Learning Commission, Arizona State University (ASU Tempe) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: over-45,000 students) coeducational higher education institution. Arizona State University (ASU Tempe) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be graduating high school seniors who will be attending college in the fall semester, current undergraduate students, or current law school students.
  • Applicants must be students residing in the state of Kentucky.
  • Applicants must belong to a racial or ethnic minority
  • Applicants must submit their scholarship essay by December 15, 2020.

Offered Benefits

The scholarship winner will be awarded $1,000.

Application Process

Students need to submit an essay between 500-1000 words about how they have made a difference in the lives of others with their passion to change the world. We also want to know about career aspirations and how their career path will enable them to give back to the community and be a voice for the underprivileged. Finally, students should explain how their life experiences have given them empathy and understanding for others victimized by racial and economic inequality.
