Benefits of Bond University Vice Chancellor's Elite Scholarship

  • As a Vice Chancellor’s Elite Scholar you will be provided with 100% tuition remission for any single or approved combined undergraduate degree (excluding the Bond Medical Program and Diploma entry students).
  • As a Vice Chancellor’s Elite Scholar, you will also be invited to participate in the Vice Chancellor’s Mentoring Program once you commence at Bond. The Mentoring Program connects each scholar with an influential corporate mentor, and is intended to cultivate industry links, networks and business acumen. Our mentors are all highly regarded senior executives, who have forged their own successful careers in the corporate world, and generously work alongside each Vice Chancellor’s Elite Scholar for the first year of study, to help prepare you for a phenomenal career beyond university.
  • As a Vice Chancellor’s Elite Scholar, you must commence in the January semester of the year following completion of Year 12, and unfortunately, will not be permitted to defer to a later semester. 

Requirements for Bond University Vice Chancellor's Elite Scholarship

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, you must:

  • Be a domestic student completing Year 12 at an Australian secondary school.
  • Be predicted to achieve a minimum of?ATAR?95.00 or IB Diploma 38.
  • Hold a demonstrated record of leadership, initiative, and service to your school and/or community.  
  • Be prepared to maintain the level of academic and personal excellence that distinguished you as an applicant once you have commenced at Bond. 

Selection Process

Vice Chancellor’s Elite Scholars are selected on the basis of exceptional academic achievement, proven leadership ability and personal character. They are also identified by their teachers and peers for their commitment to their community and their willingness to help and inspire others.

Please note; if you are short-listed for this scholarship you must attend a selection weekend, held at Bond University, on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September, 2024. This is a mandatory component of the selection process for short-listed applicants and the University will cover all travel and accommodation expenses. Further information will be provided to those that are short-listed.  

Application Documents

As a Vice Chancellor’s Elite Scholarship applicant, you will be required to submit the following documents as part of your scholarship application:

  • Evidence of your leadership, initiative, and service to your school and/or community. It is a COMPULSARY component of your application to use our  Summary of Achievements?template to present this evidence. You will need to complete all sections of the template provided and upload it as one Word or PDF document, to your scholarship application. 
    Your application CANNOT be considered if you provide your evidence in any other form, such as a personal CV or resume. 
  • Academic responses to the following two questions:
    1. Describe a situation where you were unsuccessful and what you learned from it. Write a 250-word academic response in paragraph form.
    2. Working in teams is a valuable social and professional activity. Thinking about a successful team experience you were involved with, reflect on and discuss what made your team successful. Write a 250-word academic response in paragraph form.
    Your responses should be entered into your scholarship application where prompted. We suggest drafting your responses in a Word document first and then copying and pasting them into the relevant fields in your application. 
  • A school reference. As part of your application, you will be asked to provide your career advisor's details so please have these on hand. We will follow-up with them directly to request a reference.

Bond University 2024 Fully-Funded Vice Chancellor``s Elite Scholarship For International Students for Bachelor Established in 1987, Bond University is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized city of Gold Coast (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Queensland. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Education and Training, Australia, Bond University (Bond) is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 5,000-5,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Bond University (Bond) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
