- Must be entering their penultimate year of the AUT Bachelor of Business program
- Must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident with at least two years of residency in New Zealand
- Must be enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Business program at the time of application
- Preference may be given to applicants who identify as LGBTQIA+
- Academic achievement will be considered, but not solely decisive in awarding the scholarship
- Personal history, financial needs, academic achievement, career plans, innovative mindset, and extracurricular involvement will also be considered.
How to Apply
Application for this scholarship is exclusively online through the AUT scholarships portal. Applicants must be enrolled in the second year of the Bachelor of Business program at AUT and provide their AUT Student ID during the application process. Required documents include a personal statement, transcripts of prior tertiary studies, a comprehensive CV, and two letters of support from referees (one character reference and one academic reference). Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview and a “Sell Yourself” presentation to the Scholarship Selection Panel.

The Blair Haddow AUT Business Scholarship offers financial assistance for one year of full-time study in the eligible Bachelor of Business program at AUT. Additionally, the recipient will have the opportunity for mentorship and guidance from Blair Haddow and other representatives from the AUT Business School.
