The scholarship program is available for New Zealand students who wish to continue a  Doctor of Philosophy degree at Lincoln University.

BK Otway Education Foundation Doctoral Scholarships in New Zealand for PhD Founded in 1878, Lincoln University, New Zealand is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Christchurch (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Canterbury. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Tertiary Education Commission, New Zealand, Lincoln University, New Zealand is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 4,000-4,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Scholarships are available to New Zealand students.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Applicants must have at least a conditional offer of entry into the Doctor of Philosophy programme at Lincoln University.

  • BK Otway Education Foundation to support postgraduate study and research in the area of Sustainable land management in Agriculture or Horticulture.

The scholarship will be awarded worth up $35,000 stipend plus tuition fees.

  • Supporting Documents: With the scholarship application, the applicant must have to provide a statement of the research topic; this should be approximately half to one page in length, current Curriculum vitae, and a copy of Lincoln admission letter submits  .
  • Admission Requirements: For admission, students must have at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average or GPA, and 12 credits from previous college or university, photocopies of all tertiary qualifications, the grading system and graduation certificates for each qualification gained other than those studied at Lincoln University.
  • Language Requirement: Students whose first language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in English by submitting satisfactory scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
