There are two fellowships available to Indian students who wish to study a master’s degree program at the university for the academic year 2020/21.

Bishwa Bangla Scholarships for Indian Students at SOAS University of London for Master Founded in 1836, University of London is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of London (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of London is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: over-45,000 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of London offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 183 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

The successful scholar will receive the amount worth up to £39,540 for one year only.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: If you are interested in this studentship then you must have to submit an online application for admission in the master’s degree at SOAS. By taking a confirmation for admission, students can submit an online application form for this award.
  • Supporting Documents: A complete application for admission includes transcripts, an explanation of the grading system for any degrees obtained outside of the UK, two references, CV, a personal statement.
  • Admission Requirements: Applicants must possess or expect to be awarded a First Class Honours Degree or equivalent. 
  • Language Requirement: Applicants must meet the English language condition of their offer of admission to study at SOAS as soon as possible but no later than 1 June 2020. If your offer is conditional on English, please arrange your English test and ensure you meet the English requirements as soon as possible.
