Berlin University of the Arts is launching the Stibet I Support Scholarships to support highly talented students in conducting their degree studies in Germany. The scholarship is available for the academic year 2023-2024.

This scholarship award is supported by the International Office of UdK Berlin exclusively for international students at the School of Music at the Berlin University of the Arts. The applicants must be enrolled in a degree programme to be considered eligible. Academically excellent non-German students are ideal candidates and shall be award a scholarship of 250 Euro per month for a year upon being selected.

Berlin University of the Arts Stibet I Support International Scholarships in Germany for Bachelor Founded in 1975, Universität der Künste Berlin (Berlin University of the Arts) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Berlin (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Senatskanzlei Wissenschaft und Forschung, Berlin (Senate Chancellery for Science and Research, Berlin), Universität der Künste Berlin (UdK Berlin) is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 3,000-3,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Universität der Künste Berlin (UdK Berlin) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries:  Non-German students can apply. 
  • Eligible Course or Subjects:  Degree programmes taught at the School of Music of Berlin University of the Arts can be applied for. 
  • Eligibility Criteria:  To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must not have German citizenship. 
  • The applicants must not have obtained their Abitur/university entrance qualification in Germany.
  • The applicants must be enrolled in a degree programme at the School of Music (no leave of absence).
  • The applicants must have performed well in their studies so far.
  • The applicants must have shown commitment in an international context at UdK Berlin.

Offered Benefits

The applicants selected by the Berlin University of Arts will be provided a scholarship covering a monthly amount of 250 Euros from January 2023 to December 2023.

  • How to Apply:  Students are required to submit their admission applications via the  online portal  of the university. Interested applicants must submit their applications in the form of a PDF via mail to . 
  • Supporting Documents:  The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • Letter of motivation, in which they also address their commitment in an international context at UdK Berlin
  • CV
  • Academic transcript of records
  • Certificate of enrolment
  • Admission Requirements:  The applicants must have a Diploma, Bachelor or equivalent higher-education qualification with relevant professional experience of minimum one year. 
  • Language Requirement:  The students must meet the English and German  language requirements  of the university.
