Beit Trust – University of Leeds Scholarships for Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe Students for Master Founded in 1904, University of Leeds is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized city of Leeds (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Yorkshire and the Humber. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of Leeds is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 30,000-34,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Leeds offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 115 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Applications are open from Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Taught masters program in any subject offered by the university.
  • Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must be nationals of and are currently residing in Malawi, Zambia or Zimbabwe who have applied to full-time Taught Master’s courses.

Offered Benefits

The University of Leeds will provide the fees, maintenance, return economy travel and other allowances for eligible candidates.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: For applying, students are obliged to enrol in the taught masters program at the University of Leeds. Students can download the application form, and Zimbabweans and Malawians should send their application forms to [email protected]
  • Zambians should send theirs to [email protected]
  • Supporting Documents: Provide your degree certificate and academic transcripts, scanned copies of any UK visa/permits you currently hold or have previously held.
  • Admission Requirements: Candidates must already hold a degree of equivalent standard to a good UK second class honours degree.
  • Language Requirement: Students are required to meet the English language requirements of the university.
