Northumbria University is delighted to announce the five Bar Course Scholarships for outstanding students from all over the world for the session 2020/21.

These awards are open to attract the highest caliber students to its Bar Courses. The aim of this program is to enable highly capable and highly motivated students to enter the profession.

Bar funding for Domestic & International Students at Northumbria University for Master Founded in 1992, Northumbria University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Newcastle upon Tyne (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), North East England. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, Northumbria University (UNN) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 25,000-29,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Northumbria University (UNN) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 27 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: To apply, you are required to take admission in a postgraduate degree course at Newcastle. The application process is assessed via a written application form. Applicants will complete an online application form, giving information about their academic achievements.
  • Supporting Documents: Transcripts and/or certificates (including a certified translation if not in English) for qualifications already completed, passport – copy of personal details page, proof of financial sponsorship if applicable, portfolio if required and confirmation of UK immigration history including copies of previous and current UK visas if applicable must be submitted.
  • Admission Requirements: For taking admission for the Bar Course, applicants must have an undergraduate degree from the recognized university.
  • Language Requirement: Ensure you have to meet the English language competency requirement of the university.
