Bangladesh Ministry of Public Affairs (MoPA) Scholarship at Macquarie University, Australia for Master Founded in 1964, Macquarie University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large city of Sydney (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), New South Wales. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Education and Training, Australia, Macquarie University (MU) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 40,000-44,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Macquarie University (MU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Ministry of Public Administration of Bangladesh
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Awards will be awarded for the following postgraduate degree courses:
  • Master of International Trade and Commerce Law
  • Master of Laws
  • Master of Public and Social Policy
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants need to hold a full-offer letter for their undergraduate or postgraduate degree at Macquarie University in 2022. Students are also required to meet the following criteria:
  • Be a citizen of Bangladesh.
  • Secure admission for a program that is no longer than two sessions in duration (one year) – session 1 (20 February 2023) and session 2 (24 July 2023).
  • Adhere to the terms and conditions of the scholarship.

Macquarie University will provide a fee reduction: 50% of total tuition fees to selected students to study in Australia at Macquarie (estimated annual fee AUD $40,800).

  • How to Apply: To be considered for this application applicants are required to hold a valid offer letter to study at Macquarie University. As part of the application, applicants will have to lodge their application through mopa.gov.bd and hold a full offer to be considered for the opportunity .
  • Supporting Documents: The application will require certified copies of the following documents: passport, evidence of all academic qualifications including transcripts, and evidence of English language proficiency.
  • Admission Requirements:
  • Language Requirement: All Macquarie University applicants are required to provide evidence of English language proficiency. The standard of English required for entry is based on the IELTS Academic test.
