Bachelor of Design Game-Changer Scholarship at the University of Auckland, New Zealand Founded in 1883, University of Auckland is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Auckland (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry for Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment, New Zealand, University of Auckland is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 40,000-44,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Auckland offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Domestic and international students are eligible to apply.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Any year of a Bachelor of Design or Bachelor of Design conjoint degree in the Faculty of Creative Arts and Industries, any subject offered by the university.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • The scholarship will be known as the Bachelor of Design Game-Changer Scholarship.
  • Students must be enrolled in at least 60 points of Design courses in the year of the award to be eligible for consideration.
  • The Scholarship is tenable by international and domestic students. The basis of selection will be an academic achievement (see Note II) and the applicant’s passion for design and how they can be a game-changer in the field, particularly for the benefit of society, as assessed by a personal statement (see Note III).
  • The Scholarship will be awarded by the University of Auckland Council on the recommendation of a Selection Committee comprising the Dean of the Faculty of Creative Arts and Industries (or nominee), the Director of Design (or nominee), and a member of the academic staff from the Faculty of Creative Arts and Industries nominated by the Dean.
