B.S Chimni Scholarships for International Students at University of London in UK for Master Founded in 1836, University of London is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of London (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of London is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: over-45,000 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of London offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Students from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Philippines and Indonesia.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: MA in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration Studies by distance learning
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Have the offer of a place on the MA in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration Studies by distance learning
  • Be resident in one of the following countries: India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Philippines and Indonesia.
  • Demonstrate outstanding academic merit or potential in the field of study, evidenced particularly by past achievements
  • Be unable to take up the offer of a place in the MA in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration Studies due to financial circumstances.

Offered Benefits

The University of London will offer the selected students the amount of £9,017, which will be credited to your fee account to be used against fees payable.

Application Process

  • How to Apply:  Students must first submit an admission application to UCL via the  online portal. After that, applicants complete the  scholarship application form that is separate from that for admission to the MA Programme. Once completed, you should email the application form to 
  • Supporting Documents: Applicants also provide a short statement of their motivation letter and CV.
  •  Admission Requirements: Applicantshold an undergraduate degree (e.g. bachelor’s) comparable to a UK upper second class honours degree in law or other relevant subjects.
  • Language Requirement: If English is not your first language or mother tongue, you should provide evidence of your  English language proficiency through one of the entry requirements or language tests.
