This is a region-specific scholarship open to highly talented women candidates who wish to start an undergraduate study in the fields of Bioinformatics, Environmental Sciences, Economics, Philosophy, Political and Economics (PPE) and Public Health.
Established in 2008, Asian University for Women is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Chittagong (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, Asian University for Women (AUW) is a very small (uniRank enrollment range: 500-999 students) women only higher education institution. Asian University for Women (AUW) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. This 11 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 60-70% making this Bangladeshi higher education organization a somewhat selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.
The Asian University for Women will provide a fully-funded position program to the successful female candidates.
