AUT Faculty of Culture International Excellence Scholarships, New Zealand Established in 2000, Auckland University of Technology is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Auckland (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry for Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment, New Zealand, Auckland University of Technology (AUT) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Auckland University of Technology (AUT) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as doctorate degrees in several areas of study. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Applications are accepted from around the world
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by the university
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the given criteria:
  • Applicants must be full fee-paying international students
  • Applicants must have a current and valid conditional or unconditional offer to study in a Faculty of Culture and Society
  • Applicants will be asked to provide their AUT Student ID in the box provided on the application form.
  • The studentships are awarded on academic merit

  • How to Apply: Applications can be made through the AUT online portal. Applicants must complete the AUT International Excellence Scholarships – Faculty of Culture and Society application
  • Supporting Documents: Applicants must send a detailed academic transcript with a grading scale of the most recent qualification, completion certificate, a personal statement (maximum 200 words) explaining why you are applying for this application , and what it would mean to you to receive it.
  • Admission Requirements: All applicants need to meet AUT’s minimum entry requirements.
  • Language Requirement: If English, M?ori or NZ Sign Language is not your first language, you need to prove you have the minimum level of English for your AUT qualification.
