AUFRANDE PhD Scholarship in Understanding and Predicting Seagrass Decline in Lagoonal Environment Founded in 1989, Queensland University of Technology is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Brisbane (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Queensland. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for a PhD program focusing on seagrass decline in lagoonal environments, in the field of Information Technology, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Must be future students
  • Must enrol in a dual doctoral research program at QUT (Australia) and UBO (France)
  • Must fulfil all eligibility requirements as outlined in the full position description available on the AUFRANDE website.

  • Full-time work contract at IFREMER for 36 months, with possible extension up to 42 months
  • Gross annual salary of EUR 27,600, with an estimated net salary of EUR 1,770 per month, subject to national tax legislation

  • Tuition fee exemption or sponsorship at both PhD awarding institutions
