The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program provides full scholarships in partnership with the American University of Beirut (AUB).
The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program aims to prepare young people to be agents of change in their communities, countries, and regions. Scholars attend a series of workshops, courses, and fieldwork in addition to the courses for their degrees.

The admission rate range is 50-60% making this Lebanese higher education organization a averagely selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.
Eligibility Criteria
On-campus masters' scholarships are open to young people who are:
- Citizens of countries on the African Continent
- Citizens of Lebanon
- Refugees living in Lebanon or on the African Continent
PhD scholarships are open to:
- Citizens of countries on the African Continent
- Refugees living on the African Continent
ELIGIBILITY AND SELECTION CRITERIA FOR SCHOLARSHIP STUDENTS
- 35 years or younger
- Strong academic standing in their previous degree
- Talent that exceeds financial resources?
- Demonstrated leadership potential and commitment to community engagement?
- Commitment to attend ?additional learning experiences and workshops required by the Scholars Program
- Demonstration of Readiness for University Studies in English ( RUSE) by May 31, 2026.
Tests that you can submit: AUB-EN test, TOEFL IBT, IELTS (Academic), GRE (Verbal), GMAT (Verbal), or DUOLINGO English Test (DET).
