The labex CaPPA aims to promote the North region of France as a center of excellence in research and training, in the fields of physics and chemistry of the atmosphere. In this perspective the labex deeply hopes to sensitize students about the atmospheric environmental issues. In offering trainings that are strongly related to the actual research activities and its practical applications, the labex CaPPA improves and helps students’ professionalism and employment. Also, one of the labex CaPPA's objectives consists of reinforcing the internationalization of doctors. Students will be encouraged to complete a PhD thesis under joint supervision or co-supervision.
Eligibility Criteria
The training program is dedicated to physicists and chemists having a validated 1st year of master (4th year degree) in Physics, Chemical physics or Chemistry, willing to specialize in atmospheric sciences in order to get a strong background in theory and practical works. Scholarships are dedicated to students having the highest academic records. The selection procedure is organized by the scientific committee of the labex CaPPA.
Offered Benefits
The scholarship amount has been settled to 7 000 euros for the academic year. 700 euros will be deposited to the student every month during 10 months. The scholarship should ensure a good quality of life level.
