The Atena Arabsalmany Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to undergraduate female students enrolled in the Space Engineering program in the Lassonde School of Engineering at York University. The Atena Arabsalmany Memorial Scholarship was established in loving memory of Atena Arabsalmany who was a third-year Space Engineering student at York University when she tragically died in 2008. The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage female students to pursue careers in aerospace engineering and reinforce the status of women in this field.
