A three-year postgraduate studentship is available for those applicants who have a first-class or upper second-class honours degree or equivalent qualification in bio/chemical engineering, biotechnology or any other relevant subject area.

  • Skill requirements in one or more of the following disciplines are preferred: knowledge/experience fermentation technology, microbiology, bioanalytical techniques and nanotechnologies.
  • knowledge in bioreactors, fermentation technology or genetic engineering is an asset
