Asian Institute of Technology Scholarships are available for students of all nationalities to pursue master and doctoral degree programme.

The Asian Institute of Technology, founded in 1959, is an international institution for higher education in Khlong Luang, Thailand. It specializes in engineering, advanced technologies, and management and planning.
AIT is an international institute and English is the sole language of instruction. Therefore, all applicants must demonstrate an ability to write acceptable academic and technical prose in English. Applicants who do not meet the minimum AIT admissions requirements (equivalent to an IELTS Writing score of 6.0) may be admitted with conditions.

Established in 1959, Asian Institute of Technology is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Klong Luang (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Pathum Thani. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Thailand, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) is a very small (uniRank enrollment range: 1,000-1,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 60 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.
Eligibility Criteria
HM The King’s Scholarships and HM The Queen’s Scholarships:
- Thai national or other nationalities in the Asian region.
- Graduated in related fields from an accredited institution.
- Have a high proficiency in English (IELTS score 6.0 or TOEFL 550 or equivalent). Applicants in Thailand can also take the AIT English Test administered by the AIT Language Center.
- Have a good education record in a 4-year undergraduate program
- From universities with QS Ranking 1000 or better with cGPA 3.0 and above (or equivalent) or
- From other universities with cGPA 3.5 and above (or equivalent)
Loom Nam Khong Pijai Scholarships:
- Citizen of Thai, Myanmar, Laos PDR, Cambodia, Vietnam and China (Yunnan and Guangxi Provinces)
- Graduated in related fields from an accredited institution.
- Have a good education record in a 4-year undergraduate degree program
- Have a high proficiency in English (IELTS score 6.0 or TOEFL 550 or equivalent). Applicants in Thailand can also take the AIT English Test administered by the AIT Language Center.
- Have a good education record in a 4-year undergraduate program
- From universities with QS Ranking 1000 or better with cGPA 3.0 and above (or equivalent) or
- From other universities with cGPA 3.5 and above (or equivalent)
RTG Fellowships:
- Thai national only.
- Having English proficiency not lower than IELTS 5 or equivalent or AIT English Entry Test. For students admitted with IELTS lower than 6.0, they required taking English class to fulfil the Exit requirement of IELTS 6.0.
- Four-year Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university is required.
- MBA applicants require an additional one-years relevant work experience.
AIT Fellowship:
- Students of all nationalities are eligible.
- Satisfy English Requirements.
- Priority is given to Master degree applicants.
- A four-year Bachelor degree from a recognised university is required.
- Applicants to MBA programs require a minimum of one-year’s relevant work experience.
AIT Vietnam’s 25th Anniversary Scholarship Program:
- Vietnamese nationality.
- Graduated in related fields from an accredited institute in Vietnam.
- High proficiency in English (IELTS writing and an overall score of 6./ TOEFL Paper-based 580+ (TWE 4.5+)/ TOEFL Computer-based 233+ (TWE 4.5+)/ TOEFL internet based 92+ (no band below 20). TOEFL/ IELTS must be recognised for two years from the test date.
- Being in satisfactory physical and mental health, and have a record of good conduct.
- Graduated from a 4-year undergraduate program, following the marking system of Vietnam with GPA above 8.5 and overseas program with GPA above 3.5.
- Special consideration will be given to the gifted and/or disadvantaged students
