The Ashling Murphy Memorial Entrance Scholarship 2025 is now open for applications! Jointly awarded by Mary Immaculate College (MIC) and the Irish National Teachers’ Organisation (INTO), this €4,000 bursary honors Ashling’s memory by recognizing exceptional talent in traditional Irish music among first-year Bachelor of Education students.
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be incoming first-year students at Mary Immaculate College who have placed one of the eligible Bachelor of Education programs as their first choice on their CAO application. They must demonstrate exceptional technical proficiency in Irish traditional music through a video recording, meet the entry requirements of their chosen program, and fully register in the same year as the application.Mary Immaculate College (MIC) is a renowned institution specializing in education and the liberal arts.
