The Mastercard Foundation, in partnership with Arizona State University, is offering scholarships for professional certificates. These flexible online programs empower you to build in-demand skills in global management or supply chain management. Participants who successfully obtain the academic certificate will be automatically entered into the Scholarship application process for fully supported online master's degrees. A strong expectation of the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program is that participants use the skills and education they gain to contribute to their communities, fostering social and economic growth in their home countries. Women, refugees and displaced persons, and people with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply. 

Scholarships are available for the following part-time, online graduate programs:

  • Graduate Certificate in Foundations of Supply Chain Management
  • Graduate Certificate in Global Management, Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Arizona State University Mastercard Foundation Scholarship 2026 Established in 1885, Arizona State University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Tempe (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Arizona. Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be a citizen of an African country committed to ethical leadership and demonstrated engagement in their community.
  • Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 33 on or before the application deadline.
  • Applicants must demonstrate a track record of leadership and service in their community.
  • Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence and ambitions that exceed one's financial resources.
  • Applicants must have earned an undergraduate degree conferred by July 2026.  
  • Applicants must have no prior or current master's degree enrollment before or during the program.
