Architecture Centenary Award for International Students at University of Auckland, 2020 for Master Founded in 1883, University of Auckland is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Auckland (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry for Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment, New Zealand, University of Auckland is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 40,000-44,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Auckland offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Masters level study in a professional Architecture.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must have to meet the following criteria:
  • Completed bachelor honours degree or postgraduate diploma from New Zealand, or an acceptable equivalent postgraduate qualification from a recognized university (or similar) overseas.
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 7.00 (6.50 for M?ori and Pacific candidates).

Offered Benefits

The University of Auckland will offer a scholarship of $2,000 for excellent students who want to pursue a master’s level study in New Zealand.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: To be considered for the award, applicants are recommended to take admission in the Master’s Degree coursework at the University of Auckland. There is no need to complete any application form, the support will be awarded on the recommendation of the relevant faculty or University of Auckland committee.
  • Supporting Documents: Applicants must submit academic records, academic references, and CV with their applications.
  • Admission Requirements: For taking admission, applicants must meet the entry requirements of the program.
  • Language Requirement: If your education has not been conducted in the English language, you will be expected to demonstrate evidence of an adequate level of English proficiency. For more information go through the English language requirements page.
