GREAT Scholarships are jointly funded by Anglia Ruskin University with the UK government’s GREAT Britain campaign and the British Council. We are offering GBP10,000 towards tuition fees for one-year master’s programmes to students from Indonesia, Nigeria, Kenya and Pakistan, who will enrol into Anglia Ruskin University in the 2025-26 academic year. Application form: Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) 2025 UK Government GREAT Scholarships For Nigerian Students for Master Founded in 1858, Anglia Ruskin University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Cambridge (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), East of England. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Chelmsford. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a scholarship, you must:

  • Be a citizen and resident of Nigeria.
  • Have an undergraduate degree, be motivated, and have an interest in the proposed subject area
  • Meet the English language requirement of the UK HEI
  • Establish an engagement with the UK as a scholar, through personal and academic fulfilment
  • Be willing to attend a networking event of all UK based GREAT scholars, to discuss experiences and capture perceptions of studying in the UK
  • Be willing to maintain contact with the British Council and their HEI and act as an ambassador for the GREAT Scholarships
  • As an alumnus of the GREAT Scholarships, be willing occasionally to speak to potential candidates about their own experience of studying in the UK

Offered Benefits

£10,000 in the form of a fee deduction from the tuition fees for the first year of study.

This scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarships or any early payment discount offered by Anglia Ruskin University.

Duration: The GREAT Scholarship applies to the first year of your full-time postgraduate taught degree.
