ANU University Research Scholarships for International Students in Australia, 2020 for Fellowship Established in 1946, Australian National University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Canberra (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Australian Capital Territory. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Education and Training, Australia, Australian National University (ANU) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Australian National University (ANU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 73 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Higher Degree Research (HDR) program in all subjects offered by the university.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must have to meet the following criteria:
  • Be enrolled in an accredited HDR course of study at the University.
  • Has achieved a minimum of H1 or H1 equivalent in their prior studies.

Offered Benefits

The Australian National University will offer award of $28,092 per annum for domestic and international students. In addition to the fornightly stipend, the Award also provides:

  • Travel and Removal allowances for students relocating to Canberra to commence their research program.
  • Thesis allowance.
  • Dependant Child allowance (International students only).
  • Paid medical, maternity, and parental leave.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: In order to apply for the opportunity s, candidates are recommended to take admission in the research program at the Australian National University. After being registered, they will be automatically considered for this funding program.
  • Supporting Documents: Applicants must submit academic records, referee reports, and providing proof of relevant work experience.
  • Admission Requirements: For taking admission in the university, candidates must have a previous year degree.
