YU Annie Demirjian `77 International Scholarships in Canada for Bachelor Founded in 1959, York University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Toronto (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Ontario. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, Ontario, York University (YU) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 40,000-44,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. York University (YU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Applications are accepted from around the world
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by the university
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the given criteria:
  • Awarded to an incoming international student admitted to Glendon with top academic standing (85% and higher)
  • Applicants must demonstrate great leadership potential and/or financial need
  • Preference will be given to Francophone applicants

Application Process

  • How to Apply: To apply, students have to enrol in the undergraduate degree programme at the university. After that, complete the Glendon International Scholarship Application and send by e-mail to
  • Supporting Documents: Official international academic transcripts submitted directly to World Education Services (WES) Canada for verification as part of the admission process
  • Admission Requirements: Students must hold a previous degree certificate with relevant marks.
  • Language Requirement: If your first language is neither English nor French, please ensure that you meet our language proficiency requirements for admission.
