To be eligible for the Scholarship for Languages, applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents, including New Zealand permanent residents, and commencing their first year in an undergraduate program at the University of Newcastle.The University of Newcastle (UON) is renowned for its innovative approach to education and research. Application Process
Applications must be submitted via the University of Newcastle’s application portal. Required documentation includes:
- A personal statement (approximately 1 A4 page) detailing:
- Interest or achievements in language studies.
- Integration of language studies into the undergraduate program.
- Future aspirations in the field.
- Up to three supporting documents (PDF format, maximum 5MB each) providing evidence of commitment to and achievements in language studies (e.g., awards, reports, certificates).
