Aix-Marseille School of Economics (AMSE) is offering several International Fellowships for foreign students wishing to pursue a Master’s degree in Economics, Econometrics & Statistics, or Finance. These prestigious awards provide financial support of up to 10,000€ for first-year (M1) students and 8,000€ for second-year (M2) students.

To be eligible for the fellowships, applicants must be foreign students who have never previously studied at AMU and have obtained their last diploma from an institution outside of France. Additionally, students residing in countries covered by the “Etudes en France” procedure must follow the appropriate application process.Aix-Marseille University (AMU) is one of France’s largest and most prestigious public universities, known for its strong emphasis on research and innovation. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All countries, but applicants living in countries affected by the “Etudes en France” procedure must follow it.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any of the following subjects: Economics, Econometrics & Statistics, or Finance.
  • Admissible Criteria:
    To be eligible, the applicants must meet the following criteria:
    • Be a newcomer to Aix-Marseille University (AMU) and have never studied there before.
    • Have obtained their last diploma abroad.
    • Follow the “Etudes en France” procedure, if applicable, based on their country of residence.

Offered Benefits

• 10,000€ for first-year (M1) students

• Renewal of the fellowship is not automatic and will depend on academic performance.

Application Process

To apply for the AMSE fellowship, applicants must submit the following documents in a single PDF file:
• Completed fellowship application form (M1 or M2 based on the application)
• Cover letter
• CV
• Copy of all degrees obtained
• Details of courses attended in the previous and current academic years
• Records of marks obtained for all degrees

Send the application to with the subject: “AMSE fellowship M1” or “AMSE fellowship M2” according to your application.
Ensure that the PDF file is named in the format: “yourname_AMSE_fellowship_M1.pdf” or “yourname_AMSE_fellowship_M2.pdf”.
