Are you a recent law graduate passionate about human rights and governance? Amnesty International South Africa (AISA) is offering an 11-month Graduate Governance Fellowship to kick-start your career in NGO governance. With a monthly stipend of R16,000, the fellow will work closely with Amnesty’s Board and Executive Director in Johannesburg, contributing to critical governance and policy initiatives.

Eligibility for Fellowship requires candidates to be recent law graduates with an LL.B. or equivalent degree, preferably fluent in two South African languages. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to human rights activism and have strong skills in legal research, policy drafting, and governance. Self-motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential, along with flexibility for potential travel and varied working hours.Amnesty International South Africa NPC (AISA) is a national entity dedicated to protecting and promoting human rights as part of Amnesty International’s global movement. Based in Johannesburg, AISA addresses pressing human rights issues within South Africa through research, advocacy, mobilization, and education.
