Amirana Scholarships for Global South Students at Heidelberg University, Germany for Bachelor Founded in 1386, Universität Heidelberg (Heidelberg University) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Heidelberg (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Baden-Wurttemberg. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministerium für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kunst Baden-Württemberg (Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts Baden-Württemberg), Universität Heidelberg is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 30,000-34,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Universität Heidelberg offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.   • Eligible Course or Subjects: All undergraduate degree in the field of medicine or dental medicine are eligible.

Heidelberg University will provide the educational fund for students to carry out their study in medicine in Germany.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: The applicants are required to complete the online application of the chosen course and enrol themselves in the university. Applicants are required to send the completed application form to [email protected]
  • Supporting Documents: The applicants must submit the following documents at the time of application:

  • Bank Statement
  • Proof of substantial health insurance.
  • Admission Requirements: The applicants must have attained SAT scores between 470 – 580 and ACT score between 18 – 23 to secure a seat at Heidelberg University.
  • Language Requirement: The applicants are required to submit scores of the following English language proficiency:

  • TOEFL PBT – 550
  • IELTS – 6.5
  • ELS – 112
  • PTE – 53
  • GTEC – 1181
  • Cambridge – 180 (CEFR level C1)
