AUA welcomes international students interested in pursuing an American education in Armenia. International students represent a significant and inseparable part of the AUA community. Students from 16 countries around the world have already joined the AUA experience.
International students at AUA can apply for the scholarship, which may cover up to 50% of the total cost of the published international tuition.

Established in 1991, American University of Armenia is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Yerevan (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the WASC Senior College and University Commission, American University of Armenia (AUA) is a very small (uniRank enrollment range: 1,000-1,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. American University of Armenia (AUA) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. The admission rate range is 70-80% making this Armenian higher education organization a somewhat selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.
