The American-Scandinavian Foundation (ASF) is now accepting applications for its esteemed fellowships, designed to support graduate students and academic professionals undertaking research or creative arts projects in the Nordic region. These fellowships offer up to $23,000 for year-long projects and up to $5,000 for short-term projects lasting 1-3 months.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and have completed undergraduate education by the start of their project. Priority is given to graduate students conducting dissertation-related research and to those who have not previously received ASF awards. Language proficiency in a Nordic language may be required, depending on the project’s focus.
