Alfaisal University Information
Established in 2007, Alfaisal University is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Riyadh (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Education, Saudi Arabia, Alfaisal University is a very small (uniRank enrollment range: 500-999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Alfaisal University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 12 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 60-70% making this Saudi Arabian higher education organization a somewhat selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.
Application Process
Fill out the Need-Based e-form available on the Online Admission Application.
Required Documents
- Completed “Need-Based E-Form” uploaded to the Online Admission Application.
- Salary certificate detailing total salary plus all allowances, employer stamp, employer signature, Chamber of Commerce stamp, and date of letter issuance (within one month).
- Bank account statement for the last 3 months with bank stamp.
- Family National ID or Family Members IQAMA including parents.
- House rent contract if the property is not owned or electricity/water bill if you own the property.
Important Notes
- Applying for this scholarship does not guarantee being awarded; scholarships and funds are limited.
- Only top students will be awarded based on the criteria and availability of seats and funds.
- All applications will be thoroughly reviewed and evaluated, and the final decision requires approval from multiple parties, which might delay the results. Alfaisal University will not be liable for any delays.
- Students cannot receive both Need-Based and Merit-Based scholarships simultaneously.
- The Scholarships Office will evaluate your performance (CGPA) at the end of every Fall and Spring semester. If your CGPA drops below 3.50 but is still above 3.00, you will be given one semester to raise it. Failure to do so, or if your CGPA drops below 3.00 at the end of any semester, will result in the complete termination of the scholarship.
- Summer semester tuition fees are not covered by the scholarship.
