The Albukhary Scholarship Programme was developed in 2005 with the sole intention of providing a lifeline to the underprivileged through granting them access to higher education, at no cost. Open to Malaysians and International Students, the Albukhary Scholarship nurtures a community in which character building is achieved through an emphasis on community service.
Founded in 2010, Universiti Antarabangsa AlBukhary (AlBukhary International University) is a private higher education institution located in the small city of Alor Setar (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Kedah. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi (Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia), Universiti Antarabangsa AlBukhary (AiU) is a coeducational higher education institution. Universiti Antarabangsa AlBukhary (AiU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. International applicants: 17 to 20 years old

English speaking country: If you are from Uganda, Nigeria, Gambia, Tanzania, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Liberia, the English requirement might be waived subject to the University assessment.
English Language Preparatory Programme: You will be required to enrol into our English Language Preparatory Programme under the Language Centre if you have yet to fulfill the English requirement. This programme is designed to equip you with the preparation to sit for the English Proficiency test which is IELTS. Upon completion of this programme, you are required to sit for the English proficiency test and meet the minimum requirements as listed above.
