Getting a degree is always beneficial in career, but it can be difficult with some financial barriers. To cover study expense, Alberta Innovates is now accepting applications for the Graduate Student Scholarships.

The programme aims to support international candidates who want to pursue a higher degree in Canada.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Research in information and communications technology (ICT) and advanced materials and manufacturing technologies
  • Eligibility Criteria: To apply for the financial aid, the aspirants must hold a conditional or unconditional offer of their research degree at any one of the provided universities.

Alberta Innovates will grant educational fund to the outstanding and talented scholars who meet the required criteria.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: Candidates are required to submit the program application first, and then they have to complete their application as per their university choice, i.e., University of Alberta, University of Calgary, or the University of Lethbridge.
  • Supporting Documents: Students must submit a copy of a valid ID card, a passport photo in JPG format, a CV, and academic documents.
  • Admission Requirements: Candidates are required to fulfil the entry requirements as per their chosen program and universities.
  • Language Requirement: Aspirants need to provide evidence of English language ability as per the universities guidelines.
