AHRC M4C Open Doctoral Award for International Students at University of Warwick, UK Founded in 1965, The University of Warwick is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Coventry (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), West Midlands. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, The University of Warwick is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. The University of Warwick offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 54 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: UK and International students
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for a postgraduate degree program
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the given criteria:
  • They might hold a Master’s qualification at the time of application.
  • They might be working towards a Master’s qualification that you will have completed by the time their PhD begins (even though the result may not be known and the final examination board may not yet have taken place).
  • They might have the professional and creative experience pertinent to their proposed research.
  • They might have already commenced doctoral study. Students are eligible to apply for AHRC funding, provided that, at the start of the AHRC award, they will have at least 50% of their period of study remaining.

  • Supporting Documents: Candidates must upload their degree certificate, transcripts confirming their academic qualifications, and a personal statement explaining their research interests and why they should be considered for this award.
  • Admission Requirements: Before admission, students must check out the  entry requirements for each qualification they plan to study.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
