AHRC Aligned MRes Interdisciplinary Excellence Awards at University of Strathclyde in UK, 2020 for Master


The University of Strathclyde is pleased to announce the AHRC Aligned MRes Interdisciplinary Excellence Awards for encouraging high-calibre UK and EU applicants to study in the United Kingdom.

There are up to four awards available to support all outstanding students who want to pursue a postgraduate research degree program at the university for the session 2020/21.

AHRC Aligned MRes Interdisciplinary Excellence Awards at University of Strathclyde in UK, 2020 for Master Founded in 1964, University of Strathclyde is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized city of Glasgow (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Scotland. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of Strathclyde is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Strathclyde offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. The university will provide the award amount of £4,407 to the high achieving students for the academic year 2020-2021.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: In order to apply for this education award, seekers need to receive an offer to study the postgraduate research at the university. After taking affirmation, claimants should complete the form and send it via email to [email protected]
  • Supporting Documents: You may be asked for certified copies of qualifications, research proposal (questions, context and methods) (500 words), up to 1000 words supporting statement, to include supervisor fit, benefits of the supervisory collaboration, training*, research environment, fit to School/Faculty/University strategic themes, and any external partnerships
  • Admission Requirements: Claimants are recommended to hold their previous degree certificate in the relevant subject area. Applicants must have a High.
  • Language Requirement: If English is not your first language, kindly provide a suitable English language test certificate, for example, IELTS.
