Are you a young Ghanaian committed to tackling climate change? The African Youth Negotiators Fellowship by GAYO is now accepting applications for 2024! This 4-week training program will equip participants with essential skills to engage in climate governance and negotiations under the UNFCCC.

Eligibility for the fellowship requires applicants to be 35 years old or younger, with a strong passion for climate change and interest or experience in international and national climate policies. Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to commit to the full 4-week training program, which includes both in-person and online sessions.The Green Africa Youth Organization (GAYO) is a youth-led, non-profit organization focused on promoting environmental sustainability and climate action across Africa. Established with the aim of addressing environmental issues through advocacy, research, and capacity-building, GAYO empowers young people to take an active role in environmental governance and sustainable development. The organization engages in various initiatives, including waste management, climate change education, and policy interventions, ensuring that Africa’s youth are at the forefront of global climate action efforts.
