The Africa Foundation for Young Media Professionals is seeking applications from early career journalists/broadcasters across Africa for the African Change Narrative Storytellers’ Fellowship.
The goal is to cultivate new generations of journalists, storytellers, and content creators capable of reversing the negative media stereotypes promoted by Western media, which portray Africa as a continent full of corruption, conflicts, famine, and hopelessness. Africa has positive and significant impact tales. As a result, African journalists must advocate positive news about Africa in order to change the unfavorable stereotype.
With support from Africa No Filter, this fellowship will empower and groom young enthusiastic, journalists to tell the African stories in its originality and in a positive light through their stories, news reports and contents.
